the room was clean and having a mini-bar, iron/ironing board, and an electronic key card in it was handy. a bath in the private bathroom was a plus. absolutely perfect and excellent location close to ferry, all was excellent.

The breakfast was rich, and the place was clean. the staff was welcoming and easy to work with, assisting with luggage. the location was perfect and magnificent, just a short stroll away from Lewes Priory Park.

Excellent breakfast is being served in absolutely lovely restaurant downstairs.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and sober but rather narrow.

Parking the car is a problem which should cared about more. The breakfast is far under Norwegian and even internatinal standard: the choice was poor and the staff (two young Girls for estimated 100 guests) were not able to fill up things and to clean the tables.

This hotel had a functional double room equipped with a mini-fridge-bar, a sofa bed, and an iron, and it was conveniently located right next to restaurants, the beach, mountains.

Location was great and the room was good

We complained about some very noisy people in the room next to us having a party - the staff at the hotel were aware of this and said they would ask them to keep the noise down. We were woken early morning by banging doors/ shouting/party which lasted for a couple of hours meaning we had a poor nights sleep even though we asked for a quiet room when we checked in. The hotel seemed to be aware that this floor would be noisy so will not be using Scandic hotels again as we then had a long drive the next day.

The receptionists were super nice and helpful. We were blown away by the free tea and coffee in the lobby and in our room. The side entrance to the main road made it so easy to explore the city. The short distance to the main bus station was mind-blowingly convenient. And the breakfast! It was jaw-dropping, with local specialties like smoked salmon, caviar, and brown cheese. We loved our stay here!

Breakfastbuffet served at the basement was on the other hand very good.

The room was descent but quite worn out. It didn't live up to usual Scandic quality.

Hotel staff and location

No one around at breakfast time, no coffee !!!

The facilities at Thon were exceptional, providing a clean and comfortable stay. The easy access to good quality coffee was a delightful addition. The location on the walking street made it convenient to explore the city and enjoy a variety of restaurants. The staff were lovely, welcoming, and always willing to help. Despite a few minor inconveniences, overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location. Excellent breakfast. Nice and new exercise room.
